Did you know that Playhem Play Centre is run by Thrive Group Wales? TGW is a Social Enterprise and a trading arm of Thrive Women’s Aid, so all profits made here at the play centre go back into Thrive WA, to help them to maintain the fantastic services currently provided to families within the Neath Port Talbot area.
TGW purchased Playhem with funding from the WCVA Social Business Growth Fund.
There is a range of play equipment and a choice of kids birthday party packages available including self-catered and exclusive-use parties.
Age and height limits may apply.
We are currently not taking bookings, you are able to check availability on the day and we may be able to hold a table for 20 minutes maximum, sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Admission Fees
Current entry prices are £3.50 per child
EARLY RISERS (08:00 – 10:00 Mon – Sat): £5. Price includes 1 adult, 1 child, a mug of tea and toast.
Under 12 months is £1.00
Adults: 50p per person
Free parking on-site
10% discount on entry for local registered childminders.
Local schools can also receive a 10% discount for group bookings and parties / events.
Discounted rates also available for SEN Groups and other organisations, please contact us for details.
Only food and drink purchased on the premises may be consumed, except baby food. Baby food/drink can be heated but we cannot accept responsibility for the food temperature after it has been heated, please check carefully.
Baby Changing – For hygiene purposes do not change nappies in the public area, please use the baby changing facilities provided.
Indoor Play
The play centre itself caters for children up to the age of 12 and is located on the Seaway Parade Industrial Estate. Designed on two levels with the lower level housing the main reception and cafeteria, the play frame consists of Rope Bridges, Twister Pole, Mini Trampoline, Ball Pits, 4 Slides and an Under 5 and an Under 3 Area only.
Each section of the play area is created around safety which includes separate toddlers sections alongside the more challenging areas.
Party Centre
On the second floor we have the dedicated party room, where you can book private sittings for all parties or special occasions. There is table seating for up to 32 children with extra seating for adults too.
Sometimes it can seem that there is never enough time to find the perfect venue, prepare food and drink for everyone (including the fussy ones), arrange invitations and entertainment etc.
At Playhem we have everything in one place to save you the time. We have parties to suit individual budgets, self catering, hot food, party lunchboxes and exclusive use of centre. Click on “Parties” in the menu for prices and more.
